Da Vinci Decathlon
Da Vinci Decathlon – Students in Years 7-12 are invited to participate in the Da Vinci Decathlon an academic competition designed to challenge and stimulate the minds of school students. Students compete in teams of eight across 10 disciplines: engineering, mathematics, code breaking, art and poetry, science, English, ideation, creative producers, cartography and legacy. The Decathlon is designed to celebrate the academic gifts of Australian youth by providing a simulating and challenging competition in the spirit of an Olympic Decathlon.
The Da Vinci Club is run at specific times throughout the year in preparation for participation in the competition. All students are welcome to attend the club, and students are selected from this to participate in the competition.
Selected students from Years 5 – 11 participate in the Da Vinci Decathlon challenging higher order thinking skills for boys able to expand in areas of
